Jill Brown
Head Coach, Assistant Aquatics Director
Jill started coaching for the Snappers in 2005 and comes off the most successful summer season the team has had. Jill has been a successful coach for in the Western Mass and New England area for
7 years at both the age-group and high school level. Jill was a well recognized local standout Western Mass age-group and high school swimmer who brings a vast knowledge of competitive swimming and energy to the program. As a Snapper coach she has shown to be highly skilled in getting the best out of the swimmers with her keen ability to recognize each swimmer's individual needs.
Jill has coached swimmers to victory in the Berkshires and beyond, including
a three-time high school All-American.
Sara Aubois
Assistant Coach
Sara joined the Snappers program in the Fall of 2007 as an assistant coach. She brings experience of being a 10 and under coach of several swimmers that have gone on to swim in the NCAA, US Olympic Trials, and Olympic Finals. Her personal swimming experience includes New England YMCA age group swimming and swimming for the University of Rhode Island during which she set two records. As a Snapper coach her main focus has been on introducing new and young swimmers to the sport of competitive swimming in both a fun and motivating way.
Shannon
Lasorsa
Assistant Coach
Shannon comes to the Snappers from Northern Connecticut where she worked
as an assistant coach for many years. Shannon brings to the team over
five years of experience coaching swimmers, as well as her experience as
swim instructor and head coach of the Special Olympics swim team in
2010. Her main focus will be working with beginners making the
transition into the sport of swimming.

Bill Meier
Aquatics Director
Founder
of the Snapper Swim Team, Bill has been coaching and teaching swimming
in Southern Berkshire County for over a decade. He is currently
busy leading the Simon's Rock Llamas swim team and running the
SwimAmericaTM lessons program along with his various responsibilities at
the Kilpatrick Athletic Center. As always, Bill will remain a
presence and important component of the Snapper program.
