Direction to Pools

Snappers Pool Directions to the Simon's Rock College of Bard, Great Barrington:
(Home of the Snappers)
From Main Street, Great Barrington: Take Taconic Avenue, and drive 1.8 miles to the main college entrance on the right. The Kilpatrick Athletic Center is the first building on the left.
From the intersection of Division Street and Alford Road: Proceed south on Alford Road .9 miles to the main college entrance on the left. The Kilpatrick Athletic Center is the first building on the left.

Directions to the Northern Berkshire YMCA, North Adams:
Take Rt 7 North out of Great Barrington through Stockbridge, Lee, Lenox, and Pittsfield. Continue to follow Rt 7 North through the towns of Lanesboro and Cheshire. You will eventually get to Williamstown. At the major intersection in Williamstown (near the Clark Art Institute), follow signs for Rt 2 East; this will be a RIGHT TURN. Follow Route 2 East (towards North Adams). There will be a traffic light after going over a bridge (Central Radio, a large white building, will be on the left just before the bridge). Take a right at the traffic light onto Barbour Street. There will be a large sign for Brayton School. Follow the drive to the school, and go around the parking area to the far side. This will leave you in the YMCA parking lot. Estimated Travel Time from Great Barrington: 1hr 15 minutes

To the Pittsfield YMCA:
Take Rt 7 North toward Lee/Lenox. Follow conjoined Rt 7 & 20 North into Pittsfield. When you approach the traffic circle in the center of Pittsfield (just past the Berkshire Museum), go halfway around so that you are still going straight on Rt 7 & 20. The YMCA is a few blocks up on the RIGHT. To park, take a right directly past the YMCA onto Melville Ave. There is a common parking lot on the left. Estimated Travel Time from Great Barrington: 45 minutes

To New Lebanon High School:
Follow US Route 20 into New York State. About 2 miles from the state line bear right on the road that leads to NY 22 North, just before entering New Lebanon village. At the stop sign, the New Lebanon High School soccer field will be straight ahead; turn right onto Route 22 for parking and the school. New Lebanon Junior-Senior High School will be on the left.Parking is available at the district office and in the lot just before the school on the left. Estimated Travel Time from Great Barrington: 45 minutes

To the Westfield YMCA:
Take the Mass Pike East to Exit 3. From the Mass Pike, turn right onto Route 202/10 North Elm Street. Follow this road approximately 2 miles into the downtown. At the rotary, turn right onto Court Street. The YMCA is on the right with parking behind the building. Estimated Travel Time from Great Barrington: 50 minutes

To UMass Amherst:
Take the Mass Pike 1-90 East Take Exit 4 off I-90 to I-91 Take Exit 19 off I-91 North/South (Northampton) At the bottom of the ramp, bear right onto Rt. 9 East Follow Rt. 9 East several miles to 116N (opposite Applebee's) Take the first exit off of 116, turn right off of the ramp. Go through a blinking yellow light to next traffic light, turn left. Follow road through 2 sets of lights, around a 90 degree right turn, around an S-curve through another set of lights. Immediately after the lights Totman Gymnasium is on the left side of the road. There is a parking lot just before it on the left. Estimated Travel Time from Great Barrington: 1.5 Hours

To the Hampshire YMCA:
Take the MA Pike to Exit 4 for 91 North. From 91 North, take Exit 20 (the first Northampton exit). After the ramp, you will come to a set of lights immediately. Take a right onto Bridge Road and proceed up the hill. At the next set of lights, take a left onto Jackson Street and go to the end. At the stop sign, you should be able to see the Y across the street to your left. Either drive straight across (onto Woodlawn Ave.) and turn left into our upper lot next to the outdoor basketball court or turn left at the stop sign and take the right just after the Y onto Massasoit Street and turn right into the lower parking lot. Estimated Travel Time from Great Barrington: 1.5 Hours

To the Holyoke YMCA:
Take the Mass Pike 1-90 East. Get off at Exit 4, Rt 91 North toward Holyoke/Northampton. Get off at the Rt 202 North exit. Follow Rt 202 North into Holyoke. You will pass through eight traffic lights. At the ninth traffic light, the YMCA is on the right, on the corner of Beech St (Rt 202) and Appleton St. There is a parking available in the YMCA lot. Estimated Travel Time from Great Barrington: 1.25 Hours

To Smith College:
Take the Mass Pike 1-90 East. Get off at Exit 4, Rt 91 North. Get off at Exit 18. Take a left (north) on Rt. 5/10. Go straight to the center of Northampton. Turn left on Main St. (Rt.9) bear right up hill past Smith College. Turn left onto College Lane going down hill past pond. Bear right at the fork in the road. The pool is on the left at the bottom of the hill. Estimated Travel Time from Great Barrington: 1.5 Hours
